YES we are!
We provide plenty of space for outdoor social distancing and completely disinfect all surfaces both before and after each booking!
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
Although we are called Tiki Tavern Nautica , we are strictly a BYOB onboard bar which holds up to 6 people while at sea. We offer private party seating for just your group per voyage if desired.
WHAT ABOUT RESTROOMS?
Our boats are equipped with a restroom, however we encourage guests also use a restroom before leaving the dock when available.
ARE THERE AVAILABLE LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD?
Yes, there is a type 1 PFD for every passenger. Along with all the coast guard requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit.

ARE SEA ROUTES SUBJECT TO CHANGE?
Yes, all routes are subject to change due to weather, or current tide conditions, USCG restrictions or captains’ discretion. Our primary goal is to keep everyone’s experience safe while having a great time!
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
YES children are allowed. Our Tiki Tavern Nautica offers a family friendly experience. Children under the age of 10 are required to wear a life jacket which we have on board or you can bring your own (recommended). Please let us know if you plan to bring children so that we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets. We recommend booking a private charter if you have kids under 12 to ensure a family friendly experience l.
HOW FAST DOES THE TIKI BOAT GO?
The tiki boat has a cruising speed at around 20mph. Plenty of juice to get out of the way of unexpected weather changes.
WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES?
Bookings are fully refundable if cancelled 48 hours prior to reservation. We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your booking is canceled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral related cancellations which will not be refunded). For weather related issues, we may “wait out” a brief shower, reschedule for another day during your stay, or refund if unable to reschedule. “NO SHOWS” will not be refunded or rescheduled!
DO YOUR BOATS OPERATE IN THE RAIN?
We do operate rain or shine as the tiki boats have a roof. However, the captain can decide at anytime to cancel due to conditions (typically high winds or thunder storms). If you are unable to reschedule and still want to go on one of our available time slots, the captains may under certain conditions go out to operate in calmer water which is protected by islands or mangroves.
SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN?
Our Captains do work for tips only, so gratuity is certainly greatly appreciated. We suggest a 20% minimum gratuity for our captains… they are very experienced, knowledgeable, and work hard to ensure your safety and to provide an amazing tiki boat experience!

CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ON BOARD?
Absolutely!, we always have island music playing upon boarding and departing, but you can connect your music to our Bluetooth speakers system and play your choice of music anytime in between.
DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK?
For your added convenience food and drinks can be preordered and delivered directly to our dockside location of where you will embark from. Be sure to use the correct dock location when entering into the order on the Publix online order form. You can click the link here to order online.
Treasure Hunts are an excursion ad-on to ½ day package bookings only. We provide passengers with a story line, riddles and clues that takes them places both on land and by sea to local remote islands or sandbars where they are able to discover everything they need to find and open Captain Rum Beards Treasure Chest.
CAN WE CUSTOMIZE TREASURE CHEST CONTENT?
Yes. If it is for a special occasion we can put items such as a special personalized gift in the treasure chest providing we receive it 48 hours prior to booking time.
ARE TREASURE HUNTS FOR KIDS TO?
Yes. As long as responsible adult passengers accompany the child at all times.
